b16b (civic typeR) is mainly for bragging rights... if u got the money buy it swap internals ,sleeve at 84, boost it and tell everyone they got smoked by a b16 when its really a 2liter

if u goin allmotor.. h2b good bag for ur buck...just dont do an ef you'll spend twice as much like i did....lol

I heard alot of bad things about h series also my car is ready for a b series...mounts linkage and harnass already in. Just cant make up my mind on which b...b16b is only 100 bucks more than the gsr. Everyone keep saying gsr better for turbo but ima do forged internals down the road anyhow

Was looking into an h2b but found this There are also disadvantages of H2B swaps. First, hood clearence is an issue with some swaps. The engine will sit higher in the chassis than a normal H or F-Series swap. Also, stock or aftermarket H/F-Series headers cannot be used since the engine is tilted more vertically when using an H2B kit. You will need to fabricate your own header or buy a custom H2B header. Links to those headers are below. Another issue is oil drain. Some kits tilt the engine too far. Some kits require oil drain plug relocation.

Anyone have experience with this swap in a ek hatch?

my B16b with bolt ons was the the slwest fuckig car ive ever owned. Anyone telling you any b16 is fast is a bold face liar.

If ur car is already setup for a B, then an H2b would be ur best bet. h22a with a b16 trans and obx LSD.

I had my b16b swap up for trade for a h22 swap, but then we went in a complete different direction with the enitire car.

Moral of the story- Dont waste ur money on any b16, you will regret it, i promise you.

you can make a normal h22 header work if you heat and bend it and EK's dont need hood spacers with h2b.

ek's are the easiest to do an h2b setup plenty of space ...even with the skunk2 manifold ..and someone sells a header already set for h2b ...a guy on here named Burim had an ek h2b ran mid to high 12's in a stock h22a ...full weight not cut up

Would the wire harness still be plug n play like the b series or do i have to change the main harness? Ima do some more research on the h2b sounds pretty sweet
