yo i whent today and checked out my spark plugs they werrent gapped to specs so did that took a spin felt a lil better alot smoother but still had the problem so then came back and took out the timming gun and it was of timming by a lil bit my friend adjusted the dizzy back to stock(it was advanced) then it was on timming then took it for another spin still did the same bs so i said fuck it open up the dizzy to see if there was anything up cause at this point i even swuaped out the iat with a used one and i was still getting the code so we i took the cap of i noticed my rotor had like a spot of black(wear) on where the rotor meets the cap so i went to un screw the rottor and the fucking screw was looose af!!! i mean i can literitly take it off with my hands so i went and got a new rotor and cap and put it on i had to use the old cap since the one they gave was the wrong one then i took for a spin and it didnt do the sputter but i felt a little lag i mean little.. compared to how it was before the lag is basicly nothing so ima wait til tom to put new cap on and see whats up also gonna put back the dizzy where it was set originaly to see if it helps so long story short check tthe rotor to see if its making proper contact cause i kno mines wasnt since that screw was loose smfh bumpppp and gl!!!!Last edited by letrina69; 04-13-2013, 03:23 AM.

you could always throw a s300 and datalog everything. unless you have a nice snap on scanner or something similar that can do live data.
If this were my car, id start simple.
Full tune up, even if it doesnt need it, it prolly needed it.
Good grounds
Swap dizzys
swap injectors
clean filters
check compression
But none of this will help if you have a hurt motor, so check the compression.

sometimes you just have to walk away for a bit and clear your head. answer could have been right in front of you the whole time.
