LS short block weight

Trying to figure out the weight of an LS short block with full internals and no a/c or alternator. Need to freight one soon and trying to see how much it would cost. Maybe someone who has shipped one or bought one can help. Thanks.

i dont know fi this help but maybe you can compare weights. ive shipped B series cable trannies before and if i remember right shipping weight was 90lbs boxed up and ready to go.

about 110 pounds. I shipped a bare block and it was 69 pounds. so I am estimating based on feel. also if you go to ups, the have shipping scales, or you can borrow one from your bathroom.

Probably an extra 30lbs. for the palate too huh or you think thats the weight together.

Bareblock shipped from CT to cali is 69.2lbs packaged properly and cost about 68 bucks. at least thats what it cost me last year to ship to golden eagle
