Proper socket and long ass breaker bar, that's how I did mine. U can borrow the tools from autozone. Make sure u use a torque wrench when reinstalling

Proper socket like what? 32mm rite? U think it'll be ok on a 1/2 in wrench tho its not very big. And how long of a breaker u think?

make sure you pop out the safety indentation with a flathead

a 32mm socket and a breaker bar. Use a handle from a jack or metal pipe 2' or longer to slide over breaker bar for added leverage. Lift rather then push down youll get more power/force that way And remember to bend your legs and use your legs to lift not your back. If that still gives you trouble and its been a while since its been removed use a torch to heat the nut

Wats the safety indentation? And u think the pulling force wud be better than pushing down? Like standing on it?

Theres a indent in the axle spline so after the nut is installed you take a flathead and hit it with a hammer right where the indent on the axle spline is. this will ENSURE that it can never back off. And if your anything like me "155 lbs" standing on it wont do shit. believe me youll have better luck lifting. i did. you just really got put some strength to it

so before attempting to remove make sure you just poke a flathead in there and bend it back out so you can remove the nut

do it with the car one the ground tho leave the wheel on and tight take the center cap off and put the socket there if you have steel wheels it works. and then like he said stand on it or get a long pipe.

look it up on youtube also you can see all the people doing it all different and funny as ways.
                        RIP Nick

a few of my experiences, the new axles should come with a new nut. sometimes if a breaker bar or impact wrench and elbow grease did not work i would just get the grinder with the cutting attachment. then use a hammer and chizzle and away she goes. g/l

i reverse my posistion when tightening it back on so im still lifting the pipe rather then pushing down on it. lol if it slips off your gonna go down for a face plant. its not so bad if your lifting. you just have more strength lifting rather than pushing down
