  • B16 ecu codes help please!!!

    I have a 99 civic with a jdm b16,i was having issues with the car over heating,so i did the thermo,waterpump,radiator,new hoses,head gasket and after installing everything back i get codes p0118,p0123,p0113,i did a new iat and new ect,still have the code,wtf someone please fill me in......also all i did was unbolt the intake and slide it backwards,never unplugged anything!!!

    Did you reset the ecu?

      I used the obd reader to delete the codes,if thats what you mean?

        Yaa that's what he ment but try unplugin ur batt for a minute or two if that doesn't help check all ur concetions and such maybe you have a pinched wire somewhere

          Ok battery method did also,i just unplugged the ecu to see if anything,it was running fine till i did the head gasket,when it wants it starts fine with the ecu codes but sometimes it wont start at all

            So i just unplugged the ecu for about ten mins,the only code i was getting prior to those 3 codes was p0141 o2 sensor which i knew,so i plugged the ecu back and started the car and now only p0141 came up so far....i'm fine with o2 code,will post more updates,hope my noob ass just needed to unplug the ecu the whole time!!! Wow!!!

              i had this issue before and this thread on honda tech fixed my issue may fix yours.
              Honda Accord (1990 - 2002) - CELs P0113,P0118 and P0123 - I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX - Auto transmission and it was running fine a week back till I got CEL with P0113,P0118 and P0123 codes all at the same time. The car stutters during starting, idles well but I have to gas the pedal and rpm raises a lot before it...
