ok so ive been fixing some issues on a car that ive had for a while and the last thing that seems to be and issue is a cylinder position sensor code. from my understanding it is inside the distributor and cant be replaced without buying a new dizzy. so i searched for a while and saw that just thorwing a dizzy at it dosnt usualy fix the problem anybody els have any experience with it. Or have possible fixes. Also my tac has stopped working and i think that also gets its reading from the dizzy.

I have read up on this b4. The sensor is inside the dizzy but can also be caused by a loose connection or tear in the wires. The blue wire in the dizzy is usually the tach wire. Try another used dizzy and see if it works out.if not, most likely a wiring issue broOriginally posted by knuckk@jdmdikk only dude i would take advice from.

The car also runs like shit dosnt wanna idle right and bogs down pretty bad. its a obd1 motor in a obd2 car with a obd2 computer so i did the crank fluctuation sensor trick and dont get a code for the crank sensor which is weird because its now wired into the cylinder position sensor so it must be gettin some kind of signal?
