b16 oil pan bolts rusted to hell

So i just noticed a little bit of seeping from my oil pan gasket today when i did my oil change but the oil pan bolts are all rusted and i have a funny feeling that if i go to take them out they will just snap off and then ill be screwed. Any advice or experience with this? Anybody have any ideas to get them out if they do snap.

good luck..if i was u id carfully try to loosen them if u feel its about to snap then stop

theyll strip before they snap

^^^ i was also worried about that and i really dont feel like taking 6 hours to try to get them out with vice grips after they strip. any advice?

Rent a set of easy out sockets.. good to gooo... U will want the smaller set like 5-10mm

so buy the right tools bro...theres sockets for stripped bolts, comes in a kit...ive never had an issue taking nuts off with em

I actualy have a set but i was concerned theyd just chew the heads of the bolts off cuz their so rusted

yeah fuck it ill call honda monday and get all new bolts and i guess ill give it a shot and see what happens
