  • Need Help with EK wiring harness

OK, my buddy picked up a 98 EK Coupe with a full LS motor(5 speed) in it. By the looks of the wiring harness it looks like a EK automatic transmission harness and the car is running like sh!t. I dont know if its due to the automatic transmission harness? If so, do I have to find a certain harness like maybe a EK D15 (5 speed) harness or something?

Did it throw a check engine light? Whats thes Code(s)? Havin an auto Harness shouldn't matter as long as the rest is hooked up correctly.

PS: Honda did not make a 1.5 in the 96-00 EK chassis. D15's are from 95 or older.

There alot of codes being thrown. I tried keeping up with counting them and theres alot. IDK much about Ek's, what about a DX harness. You think that would work?

Go to Auto Zone & have them scan it, get me a list of Codes. Is this car still running OBD2 or has it been converted to OBD1? Where is this car located? Interested in having it fixed?

Any Harness will work for the most part, its just how much you'll have to modify it, that changes.
