          the clutch is brand new, dont think its a clutch problem because every gear goes in fine

                if it worked befor the clutch swap only one thing it can be..... clutch issues

                      Was the shift linkage messed with? If so that might be the problem. Maybe installed back improperly?

                        how so if the car goes in reverse fine when its off?

                            Try putting in a stock clutch start from the begining and if the problem goes away then you already know bro g/l

                              that would be dropping the tranny 2 times... one for the stock, and another one to put a twin disk back in...., but i would do that last, good idea though
