Quick question.. I got a 98 crv and I picked up a Jdm b20 that I wanna put in soon. My question is can I just swap the crank sensor? I know Jdm motors don't come with them so I wanna know if I can just put it on and keep it moving.. I don't want a cel.. lmk ctv!

What they said ^. You need a oild pump for a obd2 teg or em1. Or even a crv. Cuz it has the spot for the crank sensor.

Yea. The only reason you have to put a new oil pump is because the crank sensor bolts to the oil pump. And jdm oil pumps don't have the spot for the crank pos sensor to bolt to. Neither do obd1 oil pumps.
