Btw, something else... I know it's off topic but now that I'm re-using parts lol... I put the speedometer on this trans since my B series didn't have one.......... anything bad bound to happen? It's a B16 from a 00 Si.. so Idk why it'd be harm when it's OBD2 too..

Just go to the parts store and get obd2 injector plugs. They sell them on those spinning racks at most carquest stores. They are the press on ones. Not the ones with the clips. As far as the distributor, either get an OBD1 dist or buy a dizzy step down harness offline for like 40 bucks.

My cousin had the same issue. He had an ek and did an lsvtec setup but realized the head was obd1 and the car was obd he was lost so we went and got the injector plugs and a dizzy stepdown harness and the car runs like a champ.

I got an OBD1 and OBD2 distributor so I'll just use the OBD1 one then. Yea man.. my situation has me on the verge of hurting this dude. Sold me an engine thinking I wouldn't find out about so much shit since I'm a noob at this all and when the new crew I've been chillin with found out all this shit, they wanted to dump the engine on his car. He won't even give me my money back after they even put him on blast about the trans grinding 2nd-3rd gear and the head being fucked up too. Some guy that used to be cool with him ratted him out and now I'm just crossing my fingers that it isn't the same motor and trans or else it'll be a whole lot of hell on his end. Just mainly pisses me off that someone would trick someone into that and let them find out on their own. Kinda makes me wonder how many people have gone through his bs sales. I keep being told I'm passive but soon I won't be if shit don't go right and he won't give me my shit back lol.

Having an obd1 on an obd2 engine is not a deal breaker. You just need the right stuff to get it going. I made a mistake before- Use your OBD2 dizzy. It will bolt right up. Get obd1 injector plugs and wire them to your existing injector wires neatly OR Get OBD2 injectors.
