FIRST I AM NOT LOOKING FOR OPINIONS ON USING A BLOCK GUARD. I did research and already bought a golden eagle block guard. Unfortunately, I didn't kno that I was suppose to put it in before the bore n hone...so my block was bored to 81.5 mm with forged internals and its already been assembled. My question is can I still out the block guard in at this point? The block is still fresh head hasn't been put on or anything...thanks for the help I'm new to engine building.

they warp cylinders, cause hot spots and in my opinion are garbage but the CCS system (cylinder support system) on the other hand is the best bang for your buck there making 600whp + on stock sleeve 81.5mm blocks!! and cost about half what a sleeved block would run..."cocaine coupe" aka "kilo"
