  • need help ls swap in 92 hatch cx

    Itee soo I'm kinda new to the honda game just bought a 92 hatch cx...I got a ls laying around in my basment soo I wanna put it in the hatch!! My questions r ecu and harnest!!
    Can u use the cx harnest and what would b the best ecu for it! I wanna tubro it after I get it runing first soo what would b my best option for ecu??

    Use your stock harness or a Ls(integra) harness & your gonna need b series axels , shiftlinkage , your gonna need a integra rear bracket mount & the best ecu to used if your boost it ,is a p28 , & is the motor obd1 or obd2 ,

        I know about the axles n mounts n all that other bs I just wasn't sure about ecu n harnest like I said I'm new to all that honda stuff soo just wanna ask someone that knows a lil more about it! N yaa the motor is 98 obd2! P28 isn't that a vtec ecu??

          Since the motor is a 98 you'll need obd1 injectors, alternator and distributor and your stock harness will work

            ^^^ true , but u can used a p28 , just gonna run a cel , but that's if you can get your hand on a ls ecu

              Run a p75. Running a p28 is retarded. And use the harness off your integra motor. It will plug right into the eg shock towers. If you use the cx harness you'll need obd1 dizzy, injectors, n alternator. Also you'd need to convert from 1 wire to 2 wire o2 sensor.

                keep it simpel and use a ls obd1 out of a 93-95 L.S. pr4 0r a p75 i have a p06 non vtec chipped for u if u reallu what it $60 but i would use a stock ecu amd be mintty

                      Ls/vtec took the words out my mouth......do wat he said everything will plug up no need to go to obd 1 wen i didmy swap in my si hatch it was all obd2 ...shock tower plugs are all the same .......i got a obd1 ls ecu lmk if you want it...immore than glad to help you with your swap
