port and polish?

what do i need to port and polish me air intake,intake mani,throttle body,and thinking about doing head but sending that to shop


i heard this stuff can be done so im woundering what advantage itll give

can anyone come give me some help or ideas lol and my b18a1 but im making vtec and rebuilding it and doing shit to it and itll be going to daves tuning probly

The throttle body and intake manifold were the throttle body bolts up should be bored to exact measurement so best leave that for a machine shop. To port ad polish you'll need a 6 in and 12 in long carbide high helix roughing ball tool for polishing use 120 wheel paper a finer for the best finish.

Note: don't get to happy with the rougher by best bet is to buy a scrap Gsr head cut it right down the middle to see how much you have to remove and were you can't take off to much.

i dont know how to do head or intake mani and throttle body other stuff i can...i know how to rebuild whole motor but dont know much about port and polish lol

You need a flow bench and stuff to do it the right way. One time I was bored and tried to port and polish and LS head with a Dremel and it does not go as smoothly as you think it would lol

lol damn dude i was gunna use the dremel just for intake pipe because i have a couple to try on before i do it on good one and im might switch filter to a velocity stack but not shore
