  • help! idling problems

    K so im jus chillen on the highway doin 60mph,when I get off the ramp to stop at a light,my car jus starts to rev to 2000rpms,i give it gas to c if it goes down but no still revs high,and it revs to 2000rpm down to 1000rpms,it goes up and down like if its a sensor,but my check engine light comes on after awhile after driving it and when it does come on the vtec stops workin and it starts to smoke a lil idk wtf it is help me ctv plzzz lol wtf is wrong wit my shyt ?lol

            Yea it has coolant and the check engine light comes on after awhile,the car still idles at 2000rpms when the check engine light is off

                idle air control valve may be going bad. could be a vacuum leak,
                Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

                    do what i do, i just start unplugging shit one by one and whatever one you unplug and it doesnt change the way the car runs is most likely bad lol. pull your intake tube off and cover the throttle body with your hand, if it shuts off right away its not a vacuum leak
                    Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

                      Take the intake tube off n in the intake manfold there two holes one for the tps n the other for the coolant vavle so cover the one for the coolant n it should start to idle the way it was but don't cover the tps one

                        I checked the coolant it has coolant,i checked the check engine light and it blinks 3 times isnt that the map sensor?im about to google it
