ls smoking issue

Well when I just swapped a 97 ls in to my sol nd now when I turn it on its letting out kinda a lot of smoke then it dies down a little but it still smokes most of the time its light black smoke can anyone help me out with this issue? Car has been sitting for some time about a year without turning on and I need to give it a tune up so help me out ctv....

could be runnin rich/lean....check the injectors and fuel pressure regulator to make sure its not dumpin fuel...if u got a cel then check sensors most like likely the map....another possibility is there is a timing issue....

^^ Prolly the injectors are on wrong , cause i know when i change my engine harness nd when i went to plug the injectors up i got mixed up and the car was blowing a light smoke , but when i put them on the right way it went away
