help..car not cranking over??

yesterday i drove my car back from the shop from getting the exhaust done everything was fine..i got home and turned the car off for like 30sec and when i go to turn it back on it didnt start it wasnt cranking over when i turned the key it jus made a little tick nose...any ideas its not the battery i changed it and still nothing...can it be the starter, ignition, or alternator gone bad?

ps. car was leaking anti-freeze!

if the starter did go bad i dnt think it wold be makin a lil tick sound maybe a ground cable came lose

it would make a tick. Check all connections and wires going to the starter and if that's good then have someone tap the starter while you turn the key.

u can switch the starter relay with another 1 of the same style from the junction block. make sure its not the fuel pump relay tho cuz then the car still wont start. this way if it does start u will kno u need a relay. if not, theres another problem in the starting circuit.

shit dnt make a tick on my rolla lol shit dnt make no type of sound so i tap on it n it turns rite on but then again its a old car

main relay check that do you here it by the glove compartment or around the dash

Its not that main relay that just controls tha fuel pump most likely its either a bad ground got burnt out or has corrosion or just that starter is bad try a new starter if that doesn't work than its just a loose or corroded ground wire on tha tranny quikest way to find out is get jumper cables and connect one ground to battery on tha other car and just use tha other end on ur tranny if cars turns over that's ur prob if not bad starter

I'm not sure but it sound like it was coming from around the dash...and thanks ppl ima check it tomorrow if it don't rain ill keep ya posted

If it clicks under that dash that's normal that's ur main relay turning on
