Vtec wont pop

"popping" your vtec at 2k will not make your car faster. so if you do hook it up to a switch then engage it when it normally does on the ecu otherwise you'll lose power.

true that but all depends on ur setup take for example the vtec killer cams....i say run ur vtec at 4500 rpm 2 be safe

your tune is set for where you vtec activates. So if your car is tuned for your setup for vtec engagement at 5k and your hitting the switch at 4k your not making more power.

if you dont end up finding a pressure switch and you do run the vtec selinoid to a switch MAKE sure you fuse it with a 10 amp fuse... or eles you run the risk of damanging something due to pulling to many AMPS/voltage......
