ls/vtec???

got an ls vtec on 92 Eg hatch when they scan it for emmisions it comes out as a 1.5 it has a 1.8 block with a 1.6 head what should they put in thats it has a 1.6 or a 1.8???

They don't scan anything for 92-95 cars. its just a sniff test done by the exhaust. Just don't say anything, and take it there.

I did n it fail 3 times it has p28 I even put a cat on it still fails there not even able to tell me what it is the guy there said it might b that cuz 1.5 has different specs then a 1.6 or 1.8

1.5 does have different specs than DOHC 1.6 and 1.8. Tell them it's a 1.8.

first off ur car is a 1.8 it may come up as a 1.5 cuz thats what came stock for ur car their probly goin by ur vin # second if ur check engine light is on it will automatically fail also putting a cat in doesn't guarantee it will pass u need to have all the proper emission components doesn't matter on the motor

no check engine
