  • idle issue

    When the car is just siting it idles normal but when driving an I come to a stop sign red light etc. The idle drops an bounces low to the point where is shuts off. Sometimes it starts right up other times it needs to be pop started. Any ideas

    Yea try removing your iac valve which is located rite behind the intake manny and making sure you clean it out good if that doesn't work then you might need to buy a new iac sensor..

      What should I use to clean it I looked it up an it said that your better off buying a new one instead of trying to clean it out

        Wat I found was best to Clean it out is brake cleaner does a good job sometimes if it doesn't work after cleaning it ur gonna have to buy a new one ..

          try carb cleaner since your actually cleaning carbon build up

            or carb cleaner^ also also check ur vacume lines i had a open vaccume on my car when i first started it and it didnt soudn any diffrent at idle but when i slowed down it would shut off

                              i mean u dont have to wait to let it dry if u dont want but it will b harder to start the car if it is still flooded with carb cleaner and ur car will run like shit untill it clears out thats all
