Stock obd2 b series swap with aftermarket header in a EG stock obd1 ecu for the swap

    NO CEL

I can smell fumes/gas and car blows a little bit of black smoke..

What. Makes a car run rich and how can I fix it?

    Let me get some input

How would I know? And doesn't the ecu dictate how much fuel pressure is sent?cause the ecu is stock forthe swap

I have the o2 sensor.. and I don't really want to get it tuned right now but i see people run this swap untuned all the time withno problems... ill try a diff ecu for the same swap

are you running a cat? the ECU can only adjust so much in closed loop. WOT your running off factory settings and lfts ans sfts for the most part. with a header and full cat back with out a cat your actually going to run a smidge leaner then stock becuase you are moving alot more air.

theres a few things it could be first if u can find an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for cheap get it ull proly use it later on anyway and helps if ur gunna get it tuned second if u cant find one get a fuel pressure guage from pepboys on rent and check it also check if ur return fuel line is pinched or kinked had the same problem with a mustang tried everything return line was kinked shut and wasnt working are the injectors stock is it a stock fuel rail and fuel pump just a starting point u could have shit plugs too might not be burning all the fuel check compression on the motor too make sure u dont have a bad cylinder or rings
