wats up ctv. ok so my car started doin this for about a week now and I can't figure out the problem. its a obd1 b16a in a eg. before this problem my car used to run normal no hesitation no bogging nothing. now suddenly it hesitates ill be driving rite when I get off there will be a slight hesitation around 1k - 15k and then when I get out of that hesitation area ill start to hesitate from 27 28k - till almost 4k. now the crazy part is that when the motors cold and I drive nothing no cel nothing and when it warms up to driving temperature the cel light comes on and then the hesitation comes. I'm pretty sure the cel light is for the o2 but its been like that when I got the car. I was gunna try to do the fuel filter and a new regulator it seems like its either getting to much gas or not enough I really don't have that much time to see wat the problem is cuz I just work all the time so any suggestions will help.

Start with your basics. Plugs/Wires Cap/Rotor.

I did that I got the brand new from Honda

I was thinking can it be the coil but if it was that wouldn't the car not start

^^not necessarily. It could honestly be a wide variety of things. My shot in the dark from ur description is somethin to do wit the dizzy...

i had the same problem with my b16 , figuring it out it was the primary 02 sensor , try replacing that . my car use to hesitate like at 1.5k rpm and 2krpm and then when it goes away my car will take off . .. .

yea same thing as me but it does it around 3-4k also imma try the o2 but when I got the car the o2 was bad and the car still drove regular wit no hesitation

thats cus when u got the car the o2 wasnt as bad now it is from driven it i had the same problem on a few cars starting with my crx almost 10 years ago....i also have a similar problem with my ek cus i only have one o2 hooked up....with that said i just want to address the fact that so many honda guys are runnin around with cel on and also buying sellin and tradin and they continue to ignore it and act as if its nuttin...well the truth is it makes a big difference...so for all u guys who keep sayin " i got a cel but its only the o2 sensor"...stop being a cheap skate with your 600 dollar suspension and just fix it! better performance, better gas milage, and better chance at passing emmissions....

sounds like dizzy issue but the bad o2 wont help the situation if it gets worse so you should start there get the causes of the cel eliminated then go from there if the problem persist...
