  • b18b1 Timing belt tensioner

Well i noticed last night my timing belt was sooooo loose the shit was about to walk right off my cams. Or skip a few fukn teeth. my boy tightened the tensioner for me which was wicked tight to crack free. The following day (today) it felt as if it got a little looser. You can imagine how worried i am. My question is. Is there a chance that the tensioner is bad and keeps loseing tension? Or is the belt just stretched rediculous.

Reason being if i had the cash id certainly replace both. But if i can get away with just doing the tensioner to ensure i dont jump timing or walk off i will and then just replace the belt in a few weeks. Idk im a bit limited on funds honda days coming asap and im scared to even drive my shit.bullshit
