  • Starting problems!!!

i have a 1990 crx si and i jus put an ls swap in it from a 1992 teggy. i converted it over to obd1 with rywire conversion harness. used my stock crx si harness and used the obd1 injector clips and dizzy plugs. i go to start the car, and for some reason there is absolutly nothign. all i hear is a click sound every time i turn the key coming from underneath the dash. the starter isnt turning over or anything. for some reason goin from the ignition to the rest of the motor there must be somethign wrong. i checked the fuses and they all seem to be fine. is there anything else i could check/look for b4 i go taking apart the whole wiring and tracing it all back to make sure its all hooked up right??

You sure your starter aint Fcuked Up. B-Series cable tranny starters suck.

Could be a a missing ground, Or possibly your starter signal wire isn't hooked up?

Was the car running prior to doing the obd1 conversion? Has the car ran since the harness was installed on the motor? Check the engine harness ground which should be attached to the thermostat housing area, also check the chassis ground from the battery to the body, and then to the tranny(oem setup). 1 more, the one that goes from the valve cover stud to the radiator mount. (the last one must go to one of the actual studs that the valve cover sits on, not the front corner of the valve cover, The valve cover is shielded from the head by the gasket, so it wont be a ground. Make sure it goes to a stud that goes down into the motor itself)
