Blow by? pcv? rings? valve guides?? idkk and its pissin me off car still runs hard no mis fires no Cel's nothing car runs perfect... just smokes like a bandit wen it wants 2.. sometimes no smoke... or very liltle .. plz ctv help a brotha out!!!!!

repull ur motor apart, and look at ur piston's you'll see your ring lands broke. i had same problem after rebuildin my gsr, took it apart and 3 piston's were cracked at the ring lands which makes it smoke a bit. the crack's were small enough i barely noticed them, but it was enough to make my car smoke. hope this helps, goodluck

u made sure ur rings werent lined up rite the gaps? and did u have a machine shop cut and fit your rings? i rebuilt my motor, and thats when it smoked. ( this was after it blew ) i took it all back apart in a few hrs and took all my pistons out, 3 out of 4 had cracks at the piston lands and those were the 3 i didnt replace. is there a lot of blow by that comes out of ur valve cover breather? if so thats exactly what mine did lol

my compression test read 190-90-190-210. mind u, 3 of my pistons were broke yet they still read fine on the compression reading. now that i switched em there all at 220 and the motor's running healthy no smoking nothing.

Re clock the piston rings and make sure that your pcv system is correctly hooked up
                (860) and beyond

if your rings were shot b4 the rebuild you could have got oil in your EXHAUST! happened to me b4 its burned out after a while hope its this since EVERYTHING IS REBUILT like you say

I was thinking exhaust but def not been a couple months still smoking .. Cracking the motor back apart soon im
Gonna go with the piston lands too, def think they have to b the culprit .. So prolly a new set of rods an pistons an total seal rings ....
