distributor/wire plugs question

My car takes awhile to start, by that I mean I start it & not even 1 sec it shuts off, I keep tryin then it EVENTUALLY! starts then turns off & go back to what it was doin. When it does start & stays on, it sounds mad chopy like a misfire or like its firing wrong. I recently did the distributor & harness. Does anyone kno the firing order on an Ls dizzy? I kno when yur in front of the car the piston order is (4)(3)(2)(1) . The way I have the wires plugged in niw is if yur standin on the pass side lookin at the dizzy, bottom left (1) bottom right (2) top left (3) top right (4)
Is that right?

1. is the bottom left if your looking straight at the dizzy, then bottom right is the 2. then top left is 3. then top right is 4.DIZZY PATTERN, Then the cylinders... from left to right, (1),(2),(3),(4) 1-4 shortest to longest.

Maybe sparkplugs(new ones) or maybe a new dizzy cap & rotars.. has to be either one or the ecu.. thats all i can think of, im not a mechanic but from what im feeling prolly those

Did you just put the distributor in? Or did you actually advance and retard it to get it on timing?
