  • torque specs for the head bolts on b18a? ls

    If anyone knows the torque specs for the head bolts on a b18a, it would be a great help. Im trying to change my head gasket and i cant figure this out! Thanks for looking

    Search. All your threads could have been avoided if you went ot Autozone and spent $15 on the Helms Book for a DA Integra. It will give you step by step instructions to do it.

        Yea. But if you buy the book you have it at your hand. Wide open laying in the engine bay while your doing the head gasket. It's just easier.

            yeah you rightttt. my boys got the program for every manual to every car made , i just bring my netbook out there with me and look up whatever it is i needa check specs on ;) lol but deff hit autozone or advance auto and get urself a booklet !

                oem headbolts are i believe 61 ft lbs...but torque them in 2 stages..30 ftlbs. then 61 ftlbs.
                and of course yours are probably stretched if your re-using so you can bump that to 65.

                    autozone can give u a print out on the torque sequence and ftlbs for free
                    My honda better than yours :D
