basically at 3000rpm or less under load car sputters if i hit the gas 1/2 and up throttle.but drive less then 1/2 throttle and cruising a 3000 or less rpm it sputters and kinda jerks the car slightly. now m thinking icm but i cant find any resistance specs for the icm. or even the coil. anyone help me out

I have seen cracked rotors cause those exact problems. Sometimes the rotor will crack internally, & short out against the Dizzy Shaft under high loads. What kind of rotor you have? The Auto Zone & Advanced rotors are suspect. OEM Honda parts FTW. Might not be your problem, just thought I would shed some light.
You can swap any D-series Distributer in, just for a tester, you'll probably only be able to get 1 dizzy bolt on though, which is fine for just a tester.13203
