B16 tick.. lma's?

my b16 ticks once awhile and then goes away..comes and goes wen it idles..it'll tick for like 3 seconds then go away n then come back again..i hear it sometimes wen im driving in low rpms but def dnt hear it in vtec....i dnt think it needs a valve adjustment evrybody keeps telling me that these motors with that tick is normal..and some ppl are saying its bad lost motion assemblys... nebody have opinions?? thanks

Yes bro its your lma's I had the same problem I did my reaserch and found the replacement oem nsx style lma's at Inline4.com they got great parts oem jdm quality stuff I got mine put them in and my shit runs great now I had High Output put them in b16 are known for the lma's goin bad. The lma's are about $270 or so. Good luck bro

Yea bro valve adjustment first since it's cheap and easy, shit I do it for free for friends lol! You will be astonished at how quiet the motor is after one, so try that, the noise isn't loud is it? Cause worst care it could be a bearing knock, when first spun a bearing will only make noises in certain RPM ranges. But lets hope not!
