maybe you dont have vtec! lol ^^^
purge solenoid is part of emision, does not make your car faster, and it doesnt slow it down. to me its uselessComment

the vtec will stop working when the CEL is on. but eather way i have a the valve left on a gsr intake manny i have laying aroundRIP Nick
