  • Looking for real advise on a build

I own a Da9. I can decide what to go with.

    A. B18 (LS) grs head, turbo
    B. B20 gsr head, turbo

I won't to know what would be the best decision financially and for daily driving.

I am looking forward to getting good honest opinions, plz leave the $#!+ TALK to you self,
    Thanks...

honestly like the saying goes there is no replacement for displacement so i would have to say the b20 build for sure if its all around the same price...sounds like a monster build bro good luck with it!!!

look all set ups will work good personally a DONE RIGHT b20 vtec turbo would put out nice power depending on what you want but when i say done right im talkin to seleve it pistons, rods, fresh stuff basically

as for lsv same thing as b20 but to get the 2.0ltr u gonna have to put in madd work so pretty much its almost all the same just do it right the first time and after its all done get a good tuner and ur str8 .....not some hack job then get ur shit tuned by some1 an ur shit blow up for no reason feel me so i hope this helped cause doing it wrong 1 time means u had to spend twice as much than doing it the first time ya dig

True, dey both a good setup, all depends on how much you wann push, either gonna be stock or semi build, and on who tunes it..so basically what Onepiece said

all i know is that b20 have the thinnest cylinder walls, therefore has higher chance for failure, now if you sleeve the b20 then thats different. i think your saying b20 are good for turbo because they have the biggest bore from all other b series.

neways what if you budget? so we can see were you stand

b20 walls are weak id go for the ls who need displacemtn when ur boosted? just turn the boost up lol its a dd not a racecar no need for more displacement he doesnt need the power like race cars do go for reliablity aka use a ls n boost the fuck outta it weve had ls goin on 15lbs all day with just headstuds no problems

yeah but it seems like he just wants sumthing fun hes not fully buildin or sleevin it so theres no need for the b20 block ls holds boost alot better the displacment hes loosing he wont even notice unless its a racecar but its his dd as he stated so theres no need
