  • crx gsr tranny????

i just got an axle from a da integra from my boy..it fits right into the intermediate shaft and the spindle but when i go to connect the spindle to the upper ball joint it stops right before...i grabbed both axles and stood them up then pushed down on them and i can see that the da axle is an inch longer..so my question is which axle do i need for a b17 tranny in a crx??? any help please????

a da one should go right in..sometimes the axel come out off place when u pull on them and it gets longer..on the rubber boot part..cause i have a crx with a gsr tranny and i got da axels and no problem at all..

It all depends on which intermediate shaft you have.

Here I will attempt to address any and all issues that come up when trying to figure out what axles to buy for your B-series swap in an 88-91 CRX. NOTE: This article applies to a CRX chassis with factory D-series engine that was swapped out. EDM/JDM (EE8/EF8) chassis with factory B16 engines...

            That might help

Yeah but in that link above it shows the crx halfshaft and the 90-93 integra halfshaft and the integra one is shorter meaning the axle would be longer.

yeah thats true..in mines i swap the halfshaft to a DC one and i used the DC axel cause it chages..but the DA halfshaft is a male making the axel a female so if its not in all the way its deff not gonna work..but idk lol he should take pics off whats going on and what parts hes using so we can know..
