yeah, those look like chips of gears, not synchro material. correct me if i'm wrong, but synchro material would be brass, that looks like pieces of hardened steel- aka teeth. does the car make any clicking noise in any gear?

there's no brass when i drained the mtf. it could possibly be second gear. i might have to inspect the gears.
