Need help. The wiring harness that came with the engine was completely wrong. Can I use the stock ex harness that came with the car? And how can I be sure that the place sent me an obd2 Gsr. Its a b18c. I ordered a obd2 motor. Please reply asap or anyone please call me at 203-260-3796.

if its obd2 civic you need to use the car harness. ex or si will work as stated above. you do not need to extend the wires they will reach if you pull back the tape a little bit, and make sure you get the right harness! 96-98 = obd2a 99-00 = obd2b

Also there is a fifth plug on the ex harness where the injectors are. What does that plug too...? And there is an extra plug on the harness that used to plug into a connector that came out of the block on the ex motor. Where does that go? The fifth plug where the injectors are plugged into some sort of vacuum sensor above the fuel rail on the ex motor. That's not on the Gsr unless that's the can thing under the Gsr intake manifold. Someone please help.

and there might be another plug that you dont know what is for, its suppose to be for your intake manifold, but you dont need it for the gsr, the gsr already has taht sensor in the intake, i think its the air temp sensor, correct me if im wrong
