  • Please Someone Help Me!!!!!! B Series In Side!!!

guys i have a problem not sure of what it is!!! so you guys know i dyno's it! ok well i got a lil too happy and decided to throw type r cams in. at first car seemed to be running fine well at first bad so i set fuel pressure down! on the street ran hard on highway sosososo sluggish! so i decided to take it back apart in the garage i found timing was off! so i put the car in timing set the fuel at 48lbs with the vaccumm off now when i bring the rpms up slowly when vtec engages all is does is sputter HARD! and when i punch the throttle down itll open up but keeps puttering and the car feels held back like crazy!!!! please any help will be appreciated

things i was thinking fuel pressure still to high or low! misfiring maybe bad plugs!!! can it possibly still be off timing! damn i got a headache lol

ok heres the SIt. i turned my fuel pressure down to about 44 or 45psi now i let the rpm come up slowly to vtec and it engages pretty clean! but now if i stomp on it what it does is it feels held back and sputters! i pulled my plugs and they looked like dark greyish idk if i fouled them out from what my fuel pressure was high! omg man im stressed please help! and i never checked for that o ring what can it cause if its not in there!

It may be running lean. Call when you have the time. David

I would check my timing. Make sure cam timing is good as well as ignition timing.

Also is it throwing any codes? Any CEL???

Sounds like when my dizzy went bad

My timing was never right when I aligned the holes in the cams with the caps.

IIRC, doing that puts both camgears off by a tooth. Try turning both cams counter-clockwise by a tooth.
