i hope your talking about rod to stroke ratio...becuz ls/b20 cranks have the longest stoke equaling more power...please dnt post unless u know what u r talkin about

there are countless all motor HIGH compression 85mm stock sleeved b20's running just fine...as well as turbo stock sleeved b20's. any motor will/can blow or crack sleeves if not built and tuned properly...has anyone here ever heard of detonation????

smh!!! ls/b20 cranks are the same crank as a b16/gsr/type r...they just have a longer stroke. and its not the crank that prevents it from revving as high as its vtec counterparts its the rod bolts...ls/b20 rod bolts are the same as single cam bolts causing them to stretch over time. if ls/b20 vtec is so bad then are they the most common combination used???? 90% of the top shops/builders are running hybrid motors. FACT! any motor is only as reliable as the quality of the build/parts and tune!!!

yea because your reading about ppl that take short cuts and never heard of quality parts, tuning, and any kind of measurements and torque specs.

Forced induction is another story you have to sleeve them for them to last. B20s do have smaller cyclinder wallS then a ls that's why ppl say the are weak but it's no big deal unless you are planing to run mad boost or nitrous. I had my b20 block bored out to 85mm no problem on a allmotor set on stock sleeves.
THANK YOU!! atleast sum1 here has sense

        ummmm...that is a big difference!

uhhhhhhh the cranks are different check the link, r/s is different on all 3 motors so your telling me the cranks are all the exact same. 10-15tq is not worth it IMO

I'm not saying don't do it sure a good build will last but if your going to spend it why not doing something else..

If you woulda read my post it said that the r/s ratio is diff and they have the longest thro compared to vtec cranks...READ!

And to ur last comment...u can't really say "if ur gon spend it why not do sumthing else" because then its preference...sum1 may like b16's others may like straight Ls, and others may like or prefer a H. Its where you will make the most power/performance out of a set up

ok but the stroke makes the cranks compeltly differnt. im over it.. its up to him to decide
