  • Fan adjustment

Hey i have b16 vtech and the guy i got it from he said he made the engine fan run at all the times, i wana know how u adjust the fan so only runs when it supposed to not at tall the times....

He must of hooked it up like that for a reason. Maybe he broke the sensor that sends the signal so the fans can go on. Very common. Easy fix I can get more into it but I'm on my fone

the sensor that sends the signal to activate the fan is located on the thermastat housing check if its broken. If it is then it likely that the plug ain't connected and he jump the 2 connections so the fans stay on if thats the case replace the sensor and remove watever he use to jump the connection from the plug and plug it in start the car let it warm up to normal operating temps and check to see if the fan turns on it they don't check back in here

BTW to find your thermastat housing quicker just follow your bottom radiator hose until you reach the housing simple hope you figure it out.

I have done this as well but at the track where I was beating the Shit out of my car consistently, then at the end of the day defore I drove off, & I re-connected my thermoswitch.

                    How's your heat work now??

Your Fan thermoswitch is jumped or shorted internally like Chagy said. Let us know what you find

plus is right but the bottom hose that goes from radiator to egine has wires that are srewed in the thermo i guess so im thinking those wires gotta be screwed somewhere else
