  • Voltage Problem. Help?

    Car...

    98 Acura Integra
    (OBD2)
    OBD2 to OBD1 Jumper with OBD1 P28

    Problem...

My voltage cuts in/out. Like my alternator stops working. I watch my volt gauge and it will be at like 13.9. Then randomly go down to like 12.5 and my lights will dim and shit. If I rev it up to like 4krpm it'll go back up to 13.9. And if im driving above 3500ish rpm it's fine. But anything below that im at 12.5ish.

    Things I tried...
    -Swapped Alternator
    -Checked Fuses
    -Check engine grounds
    -Swapped Ecu's
    -Replaced Battery

I'm clueless now. Shits driving me insane. Sometimes it's normal or will randomly do it for like 2 seconds. But earlier today before I swapped alternators and after tonight. it's been doing it constant.

...All I want for Christmas is my honda fixed...Lol

did you check the power wire going to the fuse pox under the hood or the batt pos wire some time they get acid in it and corrode witch some times will draw in volts you might not see it . My dads mustang did that shit at the track it drove him crazy for the hold day he changed it and was back to 13.8 / 14volts when he cut the wire in half it had acid in it and was all green under the red rubber

I kno u said u replaced the battery, but hear me out. My boys RSX type-s was doing this, and even wouldnt cold start. He put some water in the battery, and threw it on a charger overnight. Worked perfectly, hasnt had a problem since, and this was about 3-4 weeks ago. My old mans Camry was doing that too, and he did the same as my boy, and hasnt had an issue yet. so maybe the h2o level in the battery is low. G/L tho, dood
