b20vtec no start

whats goin on ctvtec i got a b20vtec and it wont start...i got spark and fuel...it pops and back fires once in a while...any suggestions plz feel free 2 let me know..thanks..

check the spark plug wires make sure you connect them right

Do u have aftermarket injecots if so how big are they u might be flooding the spark plugs.. Or if u have a regulator turn it down to 32-40 psi check timing make sure its not off a tooth or 2

sounds like firing order is off
mechanical timing could also be off a degree or 2 as stated below. start with firing order then check timing and make adjustments if needed

If you have spark and fuel it must be the ECU or firing order.

check the timeing , cause i had this civic that was starting with back fires but it turning on , so i took off the head and it was off timing so i say check timeing

ok so i checked timing and it was a lil off fixed it and still nothin...it was making a blump sound...its turnin over good..idk..its probally something stupid..

ok well i checked the timing it was a lil off so i adjusted it..still no fire...wen crankin over it was makin a bluomp sound..idk wut else it could be...the ecu worked with my last swap and my old car b4 this 1..

the head went on the way i bought it from est motorsports..never touch anything on the head...there good guys there..but idk i hope nothin wrong with it...
