I have a Gsr bubble. It's a dx and had the stock gauge cluster in it. No tach. So I bought one from a junk yard with a tach but it was out of an automatic 4 door. Anyways... I hooked it up and it works fine (so I believe). When I redline my gears to the max, the tach is reading only 7600 rpms. Is that right? Or is my tach not reading proper. I have a 95 usdm Gsr motor with a 99 usdm civic Si tranny. Redlining 3rd gear, I'm doing about 85 86 mph and my tach is at about 7500 7600 rpms. Is my motor really reving higher? I know the Si tranny has really short gears but does 85 mph redlining 3rd sound right with a Gsr motor and a Si trans? Im pretty sure the computer is stock to the motor also. Some one please help. I wanna know if I can get more out of this set up. Also. I have a check engine light on. Anyone know where I can get it scanned really cheap. I need to know asap. Emissions... Please answer all my questions. Thanx :)
