Is it normal for bad head gasket to be leaking oil and either barely to no colant at all????
Or would this be a sign or something more serious???

this DOES sound like a bad headgasket BUT before you start spending money
on stuff the oil could be leaking from somewhere else and leaking down to that area

          first,
did you notice any decrease in performance?
does the car smoke a lot? if so what color smoke?
the coolant that is still left in the radiator, is it a"milky" greyish green color and thick?

          second check :

          distributor o ring
          vtec solenoid
i think the cam seal will cause this too

          third,
do a compression test.. if you dont know how to look on google or have a shop do it. its quite simple trust me.... this will help tell if your head gasket is bad or not

otherwise make sure its your head gasket before you start taking it apart because your gonna spend money not only on the gasket but on the labor and head bolts (you gotta replace these!, dont be like me and re use them lol) doing the timing belt and maybe replacing it if its not that good, GETTING THAT FREAKING CRANK PULLEY BOLT OFF!!!, machining the head if needed and other stuff when all along it may have been a bad distributor o ring gasket or something lol......good luck tough hope everything works out for you.

If you change your mind here is a single cam write up on replacing it.

Heres a step-by-step walk-through of how to change a Head Gasket on your Honda's D-series motor. And btw, sorry for some of the blurry pics... I'm not a photographer :p 1. Start unplugging wires and hoses. Everything attached to the head from the car's body or the block MUST be disconnected...

Awsome input bro, i appreiate everyones contribution, but you know..i checked the o ring and its fine, replaced the cam seal, and cleaned the engine nicely, but the next day i poped the hood and there is the leak again, ive run out of colant not as often but more often than normal, if that makes any sence, but nonetheless the leak is comin from the gasket.
I kno the motor was rebuilt before i owned it and im thinking they re used the head studs like you did lol so im doing this this weekend or next weekend and get this ishh done once and for all
