having vtec problems

alrite so i got my jdm b16 in my hatch with a p28 with a type r chip
the vtec kicks in sometimes
oil is good
changed the ecu
check the plugs
cleaned the solenoid

what else can i check?

i read on a forum that the tps can cause that?

ive always had the check engine light ever since i have the swap an it was workin fine

trust nigga... u gotta get rid of tha check engine light... vtec will never fully pop unless u get rid of the check engine.. it mite feel lik it sometimes... but mmmmmmm no...

Trust it did mad loud too it just stopped workin like a week ago..I've had it running for months
