b16 help..

        i dont understand how ppl can say this cam, that cam with out knowing his power goals, street/track car, or WHAT HIS BOTTOM END CONSISTS OF!!!!

        op, are you leaving the block stock?? and if so I believe KBrown said that do a supertech valvetrain(excellent products) with type r valves and tuner stage2 cams. Another cam that is excellent and are basically copies of sk2 tuners are blox. my boy made over 228whp on a 1.8 gsr with blox stg2's.

        and get yourself a blox or skunk2 intake mani port mactched with a 68mm tb, 440 injectors and hytech rep headers or rmf then dyno tuned and you'll pull some NICE numbers.

        If you plan on going with higher compression pistons like type r or b16 then you can toy around with diff cam choices ;)

          for this build im lookin at anywhere from 200-220 for now.... but im definately boutta do the supertech valvetrain, type r valves,and skunk 2 series cams... i just can't decide between skunk 2 intake mani or blox

            just wanted to say once again thanks for all the suggestions ppl.. like i stated before i don't know too much bout building cars so.. the only way i can learn is by asking ppl who know and then running with that info...

              the skunk2 and blox are basically the same and flow VERY similar. if your looking to break 200 then i would recommend getting yourself a set of rsmachine pr3 pistons
