  • b16 help..

    hey ctv just picked up a b16 head.. im in the process of building poor man type r and going all motor.. just wanted to see what upgrades i could do for the head(what cams i should get, what type of springs i should get etc) if any of you have any input please lmk..

    ive got type r cams for 250 lmk. Also have buddy club spec 3's but if u use those youll have to change retainers and springs.

      aftermarket springs and retainers of course... and i wuld go wit skunk2 cams... those r like the best cams all motor... dnt believe me youtube it..

            are u retarded those are the best cams ive ever owned. they've worked with my turbo set up sc setups all motor set ups and nitro.... but u must know what your talking about i suppose. Bump for not listening to that guy.

                  best can i could think of is toda cams. i seen them in action but thats it. but the bad thing of them is their mega loud!

                    skunk 2 or supertech springs and retainers. type r valves are fine. port and polish 3 angle valve job and skunk 2 tuner series cams for now. dont go to big or you'll need a tune right away amd you wont be able to run on a basemap. no offense to you but its gunna be big bucks to build the head and build this set-up and you dont have much money,
                    Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

                      they're junk under 5,000 rpm.
                      and they're super expensive
