ls HELP!!!!!!!

Hey, I have a eg coupe with an ls swap and im having a problem with the motor. When im driving, i go to accelerate and sometime the car will bog down and almost stall out. It started happening about a week ago and it now happens more and more often. I replaced the fuel filter thinking that with it but that did nothing. When it happens, I smell and weird smell coming from the motor that smells sort of like burning antifreeze. Anyone know what wrong?????????? thanks

U most likely blew the headgasket.

Check the oil cap, oil dip stick, and the radiator cap, if any of those has a milky white substance on it, then yead, headgasket.

i checked the oil dipstick and the oil is not milky or have any antifreeze in it at all. the first thing i thought was a head gasket but it has no signs of one.

Make sure you have no check engine light

Drain the oil...see if there is any coolant/water in.

Check the coolant for any oil.

what year is the coupe and what year ls is it??? check if ur car has the map sensor on the firewall and also if the motor is 96 n up the top plug on the manifold eliminate it cuz i had a 92 hatch and the map was on hte firewall so i had to connect the map sensor from the firewall to the throttle body and eliminate that sensor cuz it would bog out not sure if thats ur problem but check it out...

Drain the tank if your having that much trouble getting it out. or take fuel line off and keep cycling the key thats the lazy way to do it. If it isnt just water in the tank then it sounds like you've got a MAP or TPS problem. Providing compression numbers are good that is
