ok, so I am at the crossroads of what to do as far as NA. A b16a head is NEARLY identical to a b18c head. The b18c head has slightly higher comp. They both flow identical. (The b18c4 is a UK GSR.) Has anyone on here done a b20vtec swap using the gsr head? A b16 head? I've been on google, but there is a gray area when it comes to these. If I'm building it head-up, does the head even matter?? stock block, cams/cam gears, IM,TB, Retainers, etc. etc. Are there ANY problems anyone has ran into, after its all done? LMK!!!

gsr head has smaller combustion(sp) chambers than b16 and itr so it raises the compression which is mint for all motor set ups. if your keeping a stock bottom end and stock cams stock pistons and all that you dont need to build the head. if you raises the compression of the pistons id personally put more aggressive cams in it but you will have to upgrade to a dual springs and titanium retainers. stock valves are fine for all motor. port and polish is always a good idea while its apart already. but all stock your best bet is to get a nice intake mani the pro series skunk 2 is nice, an ire throttle body, 2 1/4 in full exhaust a nice header and a little bull shit street tune with itr cams youll be doin ok. really just depends on your bank roll thoughHonda sucks. Over priced junk.
