i need step by step on how to do this bc i wanna try and do my whip bc this ticking noise is getting me annoyed so someone please help me out thanks

91 b18a1 valve adjustment?????

1. Engine must be 38 degrees Celcius or cooler to perform a valve adjustment. If the head is warm to the touch, do not perform the valve adjustment.
2. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and place the transmission in neutral.
3. Place the 19 mm socket and extension on the crank pulley bolt. The bolt is located behind the perforated plastic (looks like a *). If the socket cannot
be placed onto the crank pulley bolt, lifting the front end and removing the driver's side front wheel will help.
4. Remove spark plug wires from spark plugs (leave connected to the distributor). Some aftermarket spark plug wires have improper sized spark plug wire
grommets that jam on the spark plugs. A long needlenose plyer helps remove the jammed spark plug wire grommets off the spark plugs. If the grommet tears, use
a vacuum to pull the small peices out.
5. Remove the PVC valve and breather hose.
6. Remove the 10 mm bolt that secures the power steering hose to the valve cover. Move the braket out of the way.
7. Remove the six 10 mm nuts that hold the valve cover and brackets to the head.
8. Gently remove the valve cover. The valve cover gasket must be peeled off gently. If the gasket is damaged, replace it. Flip valve cover and place on a
smooth surface to avoid damaging the finish. Reinstall the valve cover gasket and any spark plug grommets on the valve cover.
9. Remove the spark plugs. This is a great time to replace them if they are old and worn out.
10. Rotate the motor in a counter clockwise rotation until the UP arrow on the cams is perpendicular with the head. Alignment markings on cam gears at 3
o'clock on the exhaust cam and 9 o'clock on the intake cam should be lined up.
11. Verify intake valve gapping between camshaft and rocker arm. Gapping should be between 0.003-0.005" for the intake valves. Adjust gapping by loosening
the lock nut and rotating the adjustment screw. After each adjusting the adjustment screw, tighten the lock nut and verify gapping. Repeat this step until
gapping is correct. Feeler gauge should drag with a bit of friction.
12. Verify exhaust valve gapping between camshaft and rocker arm. gapping should be between 0.006-0.008" for the exhaust valves. Adjust gapping by loosening
the lock nut and rotating the adjustment screw. After each adjusting the adjustment screw, tighten the lock nut and verify gapping. Repeat this step until
gapping is correct. Feeler gauge should drag with a bit of friction.
13. Rotate the motor 90 degrees in a counter clockwise rotation until the UP arrow on the cams point at 6 o'clock. Repeat steps 11 and 12.
14. Rotate the motor 90 degrees in a counter clockwise rotation until the UP arrow on the cams point at 6 o'clock. Repeat steps 11 and 12.
15. Rotate the motor 90 degrees in a counter clockwise rotation until the UP arrow on the cams point at 3 o'clock. Repeat steps 11 and 12.
16. Remove 19 mm socket, extension bar and ratchet from crank pulley bolt.
17. Wipe down all surfaces where the valve cover gasket and spark plug grommets will make contact with the head.
18. If reusing old valve cover gasket, apply a bit of liquid gasket at the base of the eight edges around the cams. Place valve cover on the head. Liquid
gasket should have atleast 20 minutes to cure before motor is started.
19. Install the washers, brackets and 10 mm nuts and 10 mm bolt for the power steering hose. Tighten the 10 mm nuts and bolt to 10 Nm in a criss cross
pattern.
20. Install spark plugs. Tighten them hand tight. With ratchet, turn spark plugs 1/8 of a turn.
21. Install spark plug wires. Place wires into wire clips.
22. Install the PVC valve and breather hose.
23. Once the liquid gasket has had time to set, vehicle is ready to go.
