  • anyone kno how to do b20v

    im lookin 4 someone that will tap the b20 block for vtec? if so location and price.

    drill?? o tap the head you mean?? i never heard of drilling the block for that dude.....well bump any ways...

        on the back of the block got to put fitting in where oil pressure sensor is on the back of the block then run a t split and put the sensor on it and the straight threw part go to the vtec head with that tapped good luck man

              ************s easy. get a oil filter sanwich plate run the oil line from their to the head. You have to undo a allen key bolt on the head in the back of the head. It's on the back of the head closest to dizzy side. And you have the thread the back right hole in the bottom op the block and plug it. It may sound complicated but it's pretty easy.

              You can also run oil up to the head by doing a T adapter for oil pressure and a hose. But I like the oil filter plate better.

                  it would be good to change it for a gsr one or b16 since is going to have to move oil around more..but i think the stock one would do...and same for the water pump....ill upgrade if i was him

                    GSR/Type R oil pump is required for optimal oil flow. B20 oil pump wasn't designed with Vtec in mind, which need a little more oil pressure for the solenoid to move the cam lobes.

                    Also, If I was you, I would get bigger injectors and a walbro 255 since you are now running 2.0L

                    And Lastly, call my boy Dave and get a Proper tune, and you will be all set.

                        thats what i did to my ls vtec .... ther was a guy from norwalk telling me i dident have to do that and i was like i think i do because it has to throw more oil so i guess i was rite lol
