im in the same boat, sorta just lsvtec. id go with rerounding your cylinder walls, 84.5mm, forged rods and low compression forged pistons, stronger valve train, and just match a turbo to what you want, like it depends where you want boost to start etc, and like everyone else says whats your power goals, to really decide what you need.

but basicly your deffinitly gunna want forged rods and low compression forged pistons. and a stronger valve train, mainly for reliability unless you plan to rev past the stock revlimiter. and apparently the b16 cams should do you well.

and this is all from what others have been telling me, from basicly my same question asked.
VTEC is just way to much fun

Bump for boost. You can boost the motor bone stock, just get a good tune. And run like 7psi.

Lol I think he wants something streetable. Gt42r wouldn't be practical at all.

my same goal for my ls vtec turbo.

forgot youll want arp head bolts too. (what im saying is to do it in a way where it should be reliable, its just left in the hands of the maintainer)

X2 that's what I'm doing with my b16a2. Not looking for crazy power, just a fun car to drive. But remember it will only be as reliable as the tune.

theres plenty of hondas with pretty much bone stock engines besides headstuds running 300hp and reliable, well of course with the right supporting mods fuel, good turbo parts, and tuning, etc

Forced Induction - 300HP Build? - I am looking to try and get 300hp out of my B16A. Recently rebuilt. No smoke, no cels, everything runs great. I was wondering what I would need to make the engine reliable. Is a build necessary for this power goal? Will my stock fuel pump suffice? I am going to go with DSM injectors...

theres one thread that will give u a head start if you search on honda tech this has been covered alot
