  • Supercharged lsv?!

well theres a certain rice bucket that has a supercharger on his car and the lil bucket goes pretty good. so i've been looking around for superchargers and i found a few im interested in.
right now my set up is
    built itr head
    P&P
all motor tuner 2 cams (sk2)
    sk2 valve train
    stock valves
    BONE STOCK LS bottom end
im wondering exactly what im going to need
obv. the injectors supercharger belts pulley ect.
as far as running it on the motor i have now what amount of boost would be safe
ill do arp rod bolts new bearings and a stock gsr girdle of course.
what power rang should i make. (for the people who have dealed/delt? with supercharged hondas before)
and my cams arent to aggressive because they're tuner series but should i get stock gsr cams stock itr cams turbo cams? im not worried about the prices on cams cuz i could trade mine allllll day for turbo cams if needed.

let me know what you think.
i dont wanna do low compression pistons and rods cuz itll need to be assembled again and for that price id rather put low compression pistons in my type r and SC that

Turbo boost is best i say..i looked into a supercharger already an in the long run you can make more power on turbo:

But if thats what you want to do you can make 250-350 no problems

im looking to be reliable. not really break records or anything and i wanna keep the look of a fresh bay. imo turbo makes a bay look like a cluster fuck.

your 100% right 90% of turbo cars bays look like shit an i h ate that..but if you want it clean an reliable then go for it..with the setup you have it should make good reliable power no problem. just make sure you do the arp everywhere

if you are going with a JRSC you could keep your compression, we currently building one at est with 11.5:1 with one of those. if you are going vortex your set up should be just like any turbo motor.

no. were just gonna turn the fuel pressure up, retard the timing and put in some octane booster.

The probelm with jrsc are the intake temps get way too hot if your not spraying water meth. That's the reason I went turbo. I would love a vortec and they are aftercooled so your str8
